Self Test Drive

I just discovered something new and I will happily share with you!

Nowadays when you go to test drive a car, there's nobody else except the car and its technical report. I welcome this idea and I think it is an awsome technology!

You can keep your car outside, have people come and test drive it but you don't have to waste your time being there. You need 3
things only to make this work.

The person who comes to test drive has to slide his License to get
access to your car. Both parties are safe because the seller gets
access to buyer's Identification Information and in the meantime the buyer gets access to the car.

While selling the car I received questions like the once listed below and that system will help keep the "Genius" Buyers away!
  • Why are you selling your car?
  • Where do you do your oil change? - If it is a Mercedes it has to be done at a Mercedes Dealership Only
  • What type of gas do you use?
  • What's the fuel consumption?
Now the report saves you time and it is a lot more efficient.

This is how it's done and it's safe

The buyer still has to do its own research because there's always something unpredictable that may come up ;)

Good luck!

Which car do you choose for your exotic vacations?

For the Hawaii vacation we rented a convertible jeep that can be driven 4x4 or 4x2 and it worked perfect for us because we went to the Mountains, to see the Jungle and we drove in the sand so we could change easily the different types of four-wheel-drive systems and 4x4 system was very useful.

Most popular cars rented for the exotic holidays are convertible Corvette and Chevrolet Camaro or Mustang. In Hawaii most cars are american made and there are very few German made vehicles.

There's Camaro for more fun in the Jungle :)

There're three reasons why I gave up on SUV's.

My preferences change frequently, so at the moment, I mean at this moment :) I choose to drive a sedan or coupe over a SUV and there are the reasons why:

1. I am young and so I believe I look cuter in a smaller car:)

2. I don't have kids yet so there's too much spare space for me considering that I don't keep my "closet" in my car as most girls do. There's nothing extra in my car besides myself! When I get into the car my lipstick is already on.

3. And the last, but not the least, the sedan is faster and more fun to drive.

Thank you for visiting!

Hybrid Cars

The new hybrid Honda has a great look, besides the fact that it is designed to be economic, compact and practical. The car is hybrid including a sport package which I thought that those two features can not be compatible. The CR-Z combines a hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain with traditional sports car.

This cute vehicle is one of my coworker's friend. He bought it new and I believe he enjoys it. Asking how he likes it after about 4-6 months he owes it, he says: "It is great but I need more space sometimes!"

Fuel Economic ratings are 4 litres per 100 km and It has a 1,5 L Engine.

I believe this "toy" is the most affordable and fun hybrid on the market today. Before Prius won the roads, now comes the little CR-Z with a modern design to perhaps, take over.

Which cars tend to sell the most?

The price point and packages included influence the sale of the vehicle. If we start with the price point, we know that people look for a great car at the best price. Through my experience selling expensive cars can become a headache because this is where you can earn or either you can loose a lot.

When the buyer wants to spend more then $15,000 on a car, they really want the car to be perfect no matter if the car is 6-8 years old. So what they do is take it to a shop for inspection:

Do you really think the inspection results will be positive? Oh no! They always find something to replace on your car. For example when I took my formal ML350 to the shop they said I have to replace the Air pump, the battery, the timing belt and there are oil licks so they estimated the expenses at $4000. My advise is don't go to a shop when the buyer asks you to inspect the car.

When buying an expensive car you want to think about the resale value, as after a year or two you might want a bigger or a smaller car and you want to sell the one that you just bought. It is important to read reviews, to check Carfax and what will really help you to keep the price up is the packages included on your car. You want the car to be loaded, even if you don't use the Navigation or other features, they will keep the value up! Especially if we talk about expensive cars, spending more then $15-20k and not having sensors or heated seats will devalue your vehicle quiet a bit!

The cars into the price range of $5000-12,000 sell the most and it is easier to make the sale and earn money on them, why? Because there are more people on the market for affordable cars and for some reason $10,000 is easier to spend then $20,000.

The cars that lead the streets of your town are the once that sell. We talk about Toyota Camry, BMW 3 series, Honda Civic and others. The weekend cars usually go out last. But there are still customers for all of them.

BMW X5- Should I go for it?

I wanted to try out a X5 for a long time now, but I didn't find "The One" yet. There's a Fully Loaded, Pearl White model.

If you see it on blog, it is mine :)

The best and worst things in BMW's world!

After you drive a car for a few months, it can be used or new, you know that one day a message is going to appear on your computer screen saying "change the lamp or check the tire pressure or worst the battery can be gone, or the electronic system half is not working, anything may happen, you have to be prepared because you cannot prevent all the things.

I am very proud of all the purchases I've made as I didn't have any major problems with the vehicles I drove. The regular maintenance is very important so when I buy a car, I will ask about all the records the owner has, but as I said above, you never can prevent some things from happening so this is what went wrong with the following series:

BMW 745li- Engine Vibration- I experienced that because I used regular gas instead of premium, so the filter got stock. The new models of 7 series have a sensitive fuel system requiring a concrete level of pressure and components so it is very easy to disturb it if the norms are not respected.

BMW-525i- Transmission Issue- I felt a turbulence while transitioning from 2nd to 3rd speed.

BMW 530i and very commun to 3 series as well- Break Pads SQUEALING- I've had that issue with one of BMW's and this is the white one you saw on my first posts. It started to squeal loudly right away and after I replaced them, I had a headache hearing them again, I thought it was a rottor problem but I still didn't figure it out. Plus the 2 front wheel drive is very unsafe to drive in the rain or especially snow, it is very playful when it comes to the cold season.

Besides that, the BMW is the best for its design, performance and capacity. It is fun to drive and yes it is a "head turner" :))

Starting 2013 with an excellent SUV: ML350

Mercedes ML350 - How does it feel?

Why did I decide to get this SUV? Because there's nothing better on the market out there :)
It took me a long time searching for a SUV. I test drove a few of them, for example Lexus RX330/350, BMW X5 and Audi Q7 and the Mercedes seamed to be the best option compare to other Makers at this moment.
Mercedes offers a significantly higher level of comfort that other SUV's don't.

This is a 2006 Mercedes, that has a 3.5L engine. Four wheel drive, holds a clean title, no accidents and is in a great cosmetic and technical shape, no scratches or dents.

The interior is very clean and comfy

The safety of the SUV and big side view mirrors are my attraction. It feels good when I drive it.

What do I think about it's quality, I am still exploring it! No problems so far :)
I love and enjoy it as long as I have it.
I miss the speedy BMW's but in cold winter weather is always nice to have a SUV friend that would keep you safe on the road.

Being One is Super Fun!

Yes, we tried the cake!!!! :)
