Last weekend, me and my fiance decided to put murals on the wall in the baby's room and we realized that the background was great for photos and so, we took lovely pictures of our son who looks amazing in every photo that you can see below.
More exciting news is that we went to Models, Inc. today for a casting with the Baby. I brought the idea to the table, but it was in fact initiated by the many compliments we get from everywhere we go. I know that everyone says your baby is "cute" because he or she is a baby. The truth of the matter is that all babies are cute. If you watched Ellen's show when she asked whether you told a baby that he was cute when in fact he was not, you know what I am talking about :). The compliments we get are more specific, like for example, "I like his eyes, he is adorable, he is handsome, this is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen" and these are just a few examples. I would not tell a stranger (even though it's a baby) these words if that was not true because there's no purpose in it but sure all babies are cute and it is natural for all Moms to believe that their babies are the most beautiful because this is the truth: "Every mom believes their baby is most beautiful and this is awesome - this is how it should be!"
Another example I am happy to share is when we went to Walgreens to take the Baby's passport photos he looked straight to the camera, the photographer took twenty pictures of him instead of 4 and she said that compare to many other Babies, he appears to be a natural in front of the camera and if he would be on the marketing advertisements for Baby products in their stores, they would sell them in a heart beat. This is an awesome compliment and why would she lie?
Our experience with Models, Inc. was great. They appear to be familiar with Baby models because they understand the Baby may need time to adapt and they may not want to be measured just after a strange person greets them the first time. The place is cozy and very welcoming. The people working there are extremely friendly. I was even allowed to use their microwave to warm up the Baby's food.
My son was very relaxed and calm when he was photographed, but he did not feel comfortable seeing that many strangers in one room because that might have been the first time when he has been in this environment and he needed time to adapt. While this can be a concern, I believe we can overcome it and this will no longer be an issue for us. Most importantly is that the overall experience was great and we loved meeting new people which is so important to my little one who does not get the chance to go many places as he spends most of the time with grandma at home and we promised to change that very soon. We will make the debut with a trip to Hawaii at the end of May. I am very excited for Baby's first flight and real vacation! We will get to see real turtles and different types of fishes, jelly fishes, tigers and lions and we will no longer have time to sing the ABC and Jonny Jonny songs because we will be busy with real stuff :)
Now, enjoy the photos and the video. We hope you like it!
